Luvlitters was created in 1992 by Clelland and Brenda Tyson in a small town in northeast Georgia. Brenda was a career banker for 34 years. Clelland, whose accomplishments include a bachelor’s in agricultural engineering from the University of Georgia, 30 years as a land surveyor, about 20 years in the manufacturing business and a 33 year career in the Army reserves reaching the rank of Colonel. He was acting commander of forcecom during Desert Storm. During the years of manufacturing, with the help of his son Brian, developed a poultry litter fertilizer, various cattle feeds, wood pellets for wood stoves, and the most prominent luvlitters for kats birds and kritters. In their spare time they managed a four house poultry farm and approximately 400 head of brood cows.  Brian achieved a bachelor’s degree in science in agriculture from the University of Georgia and owns a residential grading company for 29 years. The cattle operation, poultry facility, and manufacturing businesses are presently being operated by Brian and his sons Brandt and Charlie to present.

In 1992, we developed an astonishing kat litter wich will absolutely neutralize kat urine when used as directed. During the course of a month we generally get one to five testimonial letters attesting to that fact. Another great feature is the longevity of the litter. Depending on the number of kats, it is possible to go as long as 3-4 weeks before enough of the litter turns into sawdust and begins to track enough that you will want to discard it as mulch in the yard. Notice that we haven’t yet said it, but it’s made of pure kiln-dried wood with absolutely no chemicals – wood that would otherwise go to the landfill.

Other products available for kat litter are either non-absobent like clay (clay is little rocks which don’t absorb anything) or clumping clay which is actually harmful to kats (if it clumps in the litter box -it clumps in your kat’s instestines).

LuvLitter should be placed in litter box at not over 1 inch thick instead of the normal 3 inches for clay. This allows the kat to move most of it around after use. Simply scoop out solids each day and flush down the toilet (it’s made of wood – won’t hurt septic tank). The moisture in the urine will evaporate and so will the smell. Pine naturally neutralizes the odor for weeks. In a couple of weeks or when most of the litter turns back to sawdust, it can be used in the yard around shrubs for mulch.

The single most important factor in the use of LuvLitter is to put not over an inch in the box. This will control the ordor for the life of the litter.

In these trying times, almost everything in life is unsettling. But we can settle Kat Litter for you forever because LuvLitter really is…
The choice of a lifetime in a lifetime of choice.
